Leylandii Tree Removal, Hest Bank, Lancashire
We were asked to remove this large Leylandii after it had outgrown the narrow space between two neighbouring properties. The tree had begun to cause problems by blocking natural light to the neighbouring garden and contributing to damp conditions at the client’s property.
The Challenge
With very limited working space around the tree, a straight felling wasn’t possible. Large sections extended over the neighbouring hedge, fence and garden pond, meaning every branch and section of stem had to be removed in a controlled manner.
Careful planning and precise dismantling were essential to protect the surrounding gardens and property throughout the work.
Neighbours boundary.
Our Solution
Using climbing and sectional dismantling techniques, we removed the Leylandii piece by piece, carefully lowering branches clear of the neighbouring boundary and pond. Working methodically from the top down allowed us to safely dismantle the tree despite the restricted space.
All timber and brash were processed and removed from site before carrying out a thorough clean-up.
Logging up the last of the stem
Much brighter and more open, ready to re plant something else.
The Result
The oversized Leylandii was safely removed without damage to the neighbouring property or garden features. The client now benefits from a brighter, drier garden, while neighbouring properties also enjoy significantly improved natural light.
