We were asked to remove this young cherry tree as part of a garden renovation project in Garstang. The client was replacing the existing lawn with artificial grass and wanted to remove the tree to prevent blossom, leaves and fruit from continually falling onto the new surface.

The Challenge

Although relatively small, the cherry tree was positioned within a well-maintained garden and required careful felling to avoid damaging the surrounding landscaping. The work area was established to ensure the tree could be safely dismantled and processed.

The cherry tree was safely felled within the designated working area before being cross-cut and processed on site. All arisings were cleared away, leaving the garden ready for the next stage of the landscaping project.
